Hannah Whittaker
Expert CMPA and Vegan Pregnancy Dietitian
A little bit about me
Hello! I’m Hannah, an expert in CMPA and vegan pregnancy nutrition.
When I’m not being a mummy, running, or walking my two pugs, I’m supporting and empowering mums and mums-to-be by providing down-to-earth and easy-to-follow nutritional advice.
Here you can read a little more about me and my business, including my background, my process and pricing.
My Story
My passion for nutrition and dietetics started in 2006, but becoming a registered dietitian took me a little longer than most as I had both my daughters during my studies.
I became a fully qualified dietitian in 2016, and while I might have taken a longer route than most to get here, it was my experience of pregnancy, and the feeding problems I faced afterwards with my daughters, that led me to specialise as a pregnancy and paediatric dietitian.
After graduating, I worked full time for the NHS as a paediatric dietitian. These years of experience gave me an amazing foundation of knowledge on top of my first degree in community nutrition and my second degree in dietetics.
However, from my own experience during pregnancy and being a new mother, I knew there was still a gap in the support offered to women going through what I had been through.
In 2021 I took the plunge and decided to fill that gap and start my own business: bump2baby Nutrition was born!
My Milk Allergy Masterclass
If your baby has a milk allergy and you’re looking for a comprehensive programme of support for your little one, my Milk Allergy Masterclass is for you. Join an understanding network of parents who are going through the same experience as you, and equip yourself with the tools you need to provide the best care for your infant.
bump2baby Nutrition
Becoming a private dietitian has not only allowed me to follow my own path and develop my own areas of expertise, but I can now offer mums across the UK and around the world a more one-to-one, bespoke service as a pregnancy and paediatric dietitian.
With bump2baby Nutrition there are no generic diet sheets and long waiting times. I have the flexibility to help you when you really need help, for as much or as little time as you need it.
Starting my own business has given me the freedom to do more of what I love, including media outreach, and developing my unique Milk Allergy Masterclass.
Media Work
As a media spokesperson for the BDA (British Dietetic Association), I help to develop factsheets with easy to implement nutritional advice and information for the general public.
I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience through media outreach, and I regularly write articles on pregnancy and childhood nutrition for various publications. I’ve also appeared on TV’s channel 5 as an advisory dietitian for the programme ‘Secrets Of Your Supermarket Food’.
I regularly collaborate with other healthcare professionals as a pregnancy and pediatric dietitian through my Instagram page @bump2baby_nutrition – follow me to become part of my community!
Working with me: what to expect
My Process
I offer online or telephone appointments – this allows me to work with women across the UK and around the world, and to be more flexible to work around a timescale that suits you.
The initial consultation will be a full assessment of your needs and the requirements of your little one. After this a plan will be put in place to empower you to make the right nutritional choices for yourself and your infant. You’ll receive a full write up, and a written report for your GP if requested.
I would usually recommend at least one follow up appointment, but this is entirely up to you. The timescale for the follow up appointment can be flexible, but I can advise on suitable timescales if necessary.
My Pricing
Initial Consultation:
60 Minutes | £130
Follow Up Sessions:
45 Minutes | £85
30 Minutes | £70
